Dr. Christopher Stellpflug, DDS

Dr. Christopher Stellpflug is a California state licensed dentist who provides professional dental services in the community of Pismo Beach.
Dr. Stellpflug double majored in neuroscience and general biology at the University of California, Los Angeles earning his Bachelor of Science degrees in 1995. Following the completion of his undergraduate education, Dr. Stellpflug attended the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1999. Continuing his education, Dr. Stellpflug completed externships at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, CA as well as San Francisco Veteran Affairs Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. In addition, Dr. Stellpflug remains committed to continuing education by routinely attending courses and seminars in dentistry in order to maintain updated methods and practices in his profession.
Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Stellpflug returned to his home town of Merced, CA to practice dentistry in the community that he grew up in and to be near family. In February of 2001, Dr. Stellpflug purchased a private practice from a local dentist who had entered retirement and to his credit, he maintained a successful practice in the Central Valley for eight years. After thoughtful consideration, he made the decision to relocate to Avila Beach and sell his practice in the summer of 2009 to settle with his wife Julie. In February of 2010, they welcomed their first child, Gavin to their family and they are overjoyed to be able to raise him on the Central Coast.
Dr. Stellpflug has maintained active memberships in various associations including: The American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Central Coast Dental Society, American Equilibration Society and serving as Secretary, Vice President and President for the Yosemite Dental Society.
Dr. Stellpflug is committed to providing his patients with quality dental care and ensuring that they have a positive experience during their appointments. He has been fortunate to have loyal patients from the Central Valley travel the distance to their dental appointments as a result of his customized patient care.

Karen-Patient Service Coordinator Karen grew up in Southern California and GrassValley. In 1984 she graduated from the Orange Coast College of Dental Assisting Program. Karen has worked her way up to front desk and she enjoys interacting with patients ensuring they have a positive experience at our office. She has been with the Family Dental Center/Dr. Morrion/Dr. Stellpflug practice for 13 years. Karen loves the outdoors, knitting, running and cupcakes. Her spare time is spent with her husband and teenage son. |

Kayla-Registered Dental Hygienist
Kayla grew up mostly in Southern California and moved to the Central Coast in 1986. She attended Cal Poly Pomona and San Luis Obispo receiving her Dental Hygiene education from Pasadena City College. She joined Dr. Morrison's practice in 1998 after working for several general Dentists and two Periodontists. Kayla is committed to continuing education to maintain her skills and knowledge with the latest methods in dentistry. When she is not working, Kayla assists her husband in horse training. They also enjoy travel and shopping in theur spare time. |

Kelly-Financial Coordinator Kelly considers herself local girl having lived in the area since 1972. Her many years in the dentistry field have provided her with experience in finance, marketing and management. Working at the Family Dental Center since February 2006 has allowed her to utilize her skills and learn many new things from our wonderful patients. In Kelly's spare time, she enjoys our local outdoors, makind jewelry and cooking. |
